Digapahandi: In a shocking incident, a farmer was mowed down by a speeding car while he was returning home from his farm Sunday evening.
The deceased was identified as Dandia Gouda of Dharmapur village under Digapahandi block in Ganjam district. Locals rushed him to Digapahandi community health centre (CHC) where he succumbed to his injuries.
Patapur police seized the body and sent it for post-mortem to MKCG Medical College and Hospital while a case was registered.
