Baliguda: Baliguda police nabbed the member of a wanted gang, who was involved in several criminal cases, Tuesday.
According to reports, the accused looted money from a man and escaped from Tumudibandha.
The victim lodged a complaint at Tumudibandha police station following which a trap was laid to nab the criminal with the help of Baliguda police.
Later, villagers nabbed the accused and thrashed him before handing over to the police.
The accused, a resident of Ganjam district, has been involved in many criminal cases, said Baliguda ASI Satyabarta Rout.
