Jagatsinghpur: Police arrested a man on the forth night of his marriage for cheating his lover at Madhusudanpur Sasan village under Sadar police limits in this district Thursday.
His arrest was made following the complaint by the victim.
As per the complaint, the man accused Rabindra was in a relationship with a divorcee who has a six-year-old daughter, for the last two years. The complainant, who works in a shopping mall in Bhubaneswar, had married seven years ago and was staying with her parents after splitting with her husband three years ago.
However, Rabindra got married to another woman at Redhua village under Raghunathpur police station four days ago.
After knowing this, the woman lodged a complaint at Jagatsinghpur police station.
She also produced pictures and video of her relationship with Rabindra as evidence. Acting on the complaint, police arrested Rabindra from his house and later detained him along with the complainant for interrogation.
