We always think that true love exists only in the movies or in fairytales where the protagonists’ story ends with a ‘they lived happily ever after’ message.
Finding someone who truly loves you and cares about you gives you a precious feeling.
Some people think that finding true love is impossible. But, Sunday POST brings some stories of couples from the Temple City which prove that true love does exist.

Here are their stories:

Sekhar and Lipsa
Sekhar, a marketing management professional, found his true love Lipsa seven months back. Sekhar narrates how love blossomed.
“I saw her at an event. I wanted to talk to her but before I could, she had left. So, I pursued her on social media and our first conversation happened on social media,” he says.
In the movies, when someone falls in love, we hear music playing. Was it the same for him?
He laughs, “That happens only in the movies. But there have been occasions when some songs being played seemed to match our moods and we would burst into laughter. This might seem filmy, but I take it as a signal from the Almighty.”
Lipsa never thought that she would ever fall for someone or find a person who would be so patient with someone difficult like her. But the spark has always been alive between them ever since they got together

Sekhar continues, “Before we could realise it was love, we had already become Bae (Lipsa) and Boo (me) to each other. However, when we take things forward to the next level, I want to plan a memorable proposal for her.”
He explains what attracts him to Lipsa. “No one has ever made me feel the way Lipsa does. She treats me like a king, she understands me better than anybody. She motivates me like no one else can.

If there’s something I want to do but I see that no one bothers, she will be the only one who expects me to go ahead. I do what I do to make her happy.”
Lipsa never thought that she would ever fall for someone or find a person who would be so patient with someone difficult like her. But the spark has always been alive between them ever since they got together.
Lipsa feels blessed to have a partner like Sekhar, a selfless lover. “Finding someone with similar tastes in music is magical, they say. We both surprisingly share the same favourite song, playlist and artists. I still remember the adrenaline rush I had when he mentioned ‘Zara Zara’ from the movie Rehna Hai Tere Dil Main to be his favourite song. That was my favourite too,” she confesses.

Maneesha and Tushar

DJ Manisha defines love as true friendship. Love is caring and accepting all craziness and finally having a best friend with whom you can share all your experiences, secrets and stories.

He has been a best friend and he cares about everything. He has been an unbreakable pillar of support for me every time I needed it. We are best friends forever and we don’t need much from life, so now we can say ‘Happily Married’..! — Maneesha

Manisha met Tushar at a party where he was invited as a celebrity DJ. Manisha admits that it was love at first sight. “Yes, it took just a glance to get connected, he was moving out of the club and I was getting into the club when our eyes met. Honestly, my eyes and ears were filled with special FX, dim glowing lights and soft music. At that time, Enrique Iglesias’s Hero was playing in the background,” she says.
Manisha and Tushar have been in a relationship for the past 10 years. She says, “He has been a best friend and he cares about everything. He has been an unbreakable pillar of support for me every time I needed it. We are best friends forever and we don’t need much from life, so now we can say ‘Happily Married’..!”

Subhasish and Aanisha

Odia movie actors Subhasish Sharma and Aanisha met during the shooting of Swabhiman. Subhasish feels that true love just happens and considers himself lucky that Aanisha came into his life.
Aanisha confesses that she is head over heels in love with Subhasish and the reason is that he takes care of her always. And that’s how their love story blossomed, and they are now happily married.
