Nuapada: At least 12 people have been injured by a bear which is on a rampage in forested areas of Boden block in this district Sunday.
Nilambar Hansa of Dotto village was the first victim of the animal. The bear then went berserk and attacked other people. Later, it proceeded towards Karangamal village where it attacked people working in agriculture fields.
The injured were admitted to Khariar sub-divisional hospital and later shifted to the district headquarters hospital.
