Angul: A woman was severely injured in a bear attack at Santarabandh village under Chhendipada forest range in Angul district Saturday.
The injured woman was identified as Sanju Sahu, wife of Bansidhar Sahu.
According to reports, a wild bear attacked Sanju who had gone to a nearby forest to collect firewood early Saturday morning.
She sustained serious injuries on her right leg. Some villagers rushed her to the Chhendipada community health centre.
