Angul: A man sustained critical injuries after he was attacked by a bear near Athmallik forest in Angul district Tuesday.
He was identified as Niladri Nayak, a resident of Sanrohila village.
Sources said, Nayak, was attacked by a bear while going to the farmlands to do his usual works.
Locals, after discovering him in a critically injured state, immediately rushed him to the Kishorenagar health centre. However, his condition is stated to be critical.
