Bolangir: A man allegedly hacked his wife to death at Mundadara village near Belpara in Patnagarh Thursday.
According to reports, Dhabaleswar Chiragun attacked his wife Baidehi with an axe and killed her.
After Dhabaleswar surrendered at the Belpara police station, a police team rushed to the spot and sent the body for post-mortem.
The exact reason for the murder is yet to be ascertained.
