Bhadrak: In a broad daylight heist, three armed robbers looted around Rs 30 lakh from employees of a nationalized bank here in this district Monday. Sources said, the incident occurred while the employees of UCO Bank of Bhadrak town branch were on their way to UCO Bank Jalanga branch to deposit the cash.
Meanwhile, three men armed with pistols and daggers came on a bike and waylaid the car. The miscreants then held the employees at gun-point and fled with the cash. Acting on a complaint by the officials, police registered a case and sealed all the check gates to nab the miscreants.
No one has been arrested in this connection till the last reports came in.
