Rairangpur: Half-burnt body of a youth was found alongside roadside near Dandabosa village under Town police limits in Mayurbhanj district Monday.
The matter came to light after locals on their way to attend nature call spotted the body in a half-burnt state and informed local police.
After getting information, a police team reached the spot and seized the body for the post-mortem.
It is suspected that the youth was stoned to death due to some personal grudges and later the miscreants set the body on fire in a bid to hide his identity.
Police have launched a probe to ascertain the identity of the deceased youth and to unfold the mystery behind the brutal murder.
