Cuttack: The monkey menace, which had been threatening the residents of Nimeisapur panchayat under Cuttack Sadar block for the last seven months, has finally been resolved. The Forest department officials have captured the rogue animal Thursday near Nuakorua village after tranquilising it.
The monkey was targeting commuters in the area and had bitten more than 40 people.
It may be mentioned here that earlier Forest department officials had tried twice to capture the money, but had failed.
