Cuttack: Popular television actress Laxmipriya Behera alias Nikita died while undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Cuttack. The actress was admitted to the hospital following an injury on her head.
According to reports, Nikita fell down from the terrace of her house in Mahanadi Vihar and had sustained grievous injuries on her head. She had been rushed to a private hospital where she passed away while undergoing treatment Saturday early morning.
Nikita has featured in Odia movie like ‘Akhi Kholibaku Dara Laguchi’, ‘Maa Ra Panatakani’, ‘Smile Please’ and ‘Chori Chori Mana Chori’. She was also the lead actress of hit television sitcom ‘Tapasya’.
Her death has send shockwaves across Ollywood industry. Actors and directors condoled her demise and paid their tributes.
