Barang: A 40-year-old fair complexioned man was found dead near Adishakti temple at Mundali here, a senior Barang police said Tuesday.
“Deep injuries on head, besides scars on other parts of the body, hint that he was murdered elsewhere before being dragged and dumped here in order to show it as murder,” the official said.
The incident came to the fore after some villagers spotted the man lying lifeless in the afternoon. “The body has been sent for autopsy. And we’re waiting for the post-mortem report to ascertain the exact cause of death,” the official said, adding they are yet to ascertain the identity of the body found wearing only a trouser.
