JEE-Main concludes today

Bhubaneswar, April 10: The two-day online Joint Entrance (Main) Examination (JEE) 2015 will conclude Saturday. About 2,800 aspirants took the examination at 34 centres across the state.
The JEE Main was conducted in nine towns – Balasore, Bhubaneswar, Berhampur, Samablpur, Bhawanipatna, Cuttack, Angul, Jaipur and Rourkela.
Candidates seeking admission to Bachelor of Engineering and Bachelor of Technology courses have appeared for the computer-based online examination.
The JEE offline examinations were held April 4 in 76 centres across the nine cities. The offline examination was meant for candidates seeking admission to BE, B.Tech and the Bachelor of Architecture and Bachelor of Planning courses. About 50,000 candidates have appeared for the offline examination.
The candidates who qualify at JEE Main, 2015 will get admission to various premier institutes including Indian Institute of Information Technology and National Institute of Technology.
The JEE-Advanced is for admission to Indian Institute of Technology and Indian School of Mines (ISM). The JEE Main results will be announced April 27 and the answer keys published by April 18. Candidates who clear IIT-JEE mains will be eligible to appear for IIT-JEE-Advance which provides entry to IITs.
