BHUBANESWAR: A guided photography tour by Indian Photo Tours across Konark, Puri and Bhubaneswar kicked off from Chilika January 12, 2019 and will culminate in the Capital Wednesday.
The guided photo Expedition is mentored by Dheeraj Paul and curated by Sanjiv Bhandula, Director, Indian Photo Tours. The group conducts photography workshops, guided photography tours along with photo expeditions and voyages across the country and South East Asia.
These photo tours are designed on specially created itineraries that offer the best visual sights in the most appropriate times of the year at chosen destinations across the Indian Subcontinent.
This photo tour was specifically designed to provide the best experience in photographing birds of these areas as well as its architecture and culture. Extensive photography training through hands-on sessions, guided shoot sessions, both indoor and outdoor, boat rides, extensive critiques, live demonstrations were all part of the tour.
These techniques improve the quality of one’s outdoor travel, birding experience, as well as photography as it renders the images unique and well composed. It creates a strong impact on the viewer.
Chilika Lake offers photographers a spectacular display of its colorful avian charms in a thousand different hues presented by over 160 species in this peak season. Hence, the destination offers a rich learning experience complemented by a scenic landscape. In the tour, architectural photography is guided and mentored at all times by professionals.
One such class is currently being conducted here by world acclaimed photography mentor and one of Sony’s brand ambassador Dheeraj Paul. The class would cover the avian destinations of Manglajodi and Chilika. Also part of this guided photography tour is a visit to Puri.
