It’s not all work and no play on the sets of Salman Khan’s upcoming film Bharat. A few days after the actor posted a video of him playing cricket on the sets of the film, Katrina Kaif too took to Instagram to show off her batting skills.
The actress posted a video where she is seen playing cricket with the crew of the film. Making a reference to the upcoming cricket World Cup, the actress tagged Anushka Sharma, asking her to put in a word for her with the India cricket team’s captain Virat Kohli.
Going by her post, it seems that the fever of Ranveer Singh’s Gully Boy has also gripped the actress as at the end of the post she wrote #apnatimeaayega.
She captioned the video saying, “Pack up ke baad #bharat sets as the World Cup nears @anushkasharma perhaps u could put in a small word for me with the captain of the team some room for improvement in my swing, but over all not a bad all rounder #apnatimeaayega.”
Katrina Kaif’s last film Zero failed to do well at the box office but the actress was lauded for her performance. Like her last film, this time also Katrina will be sharing screen space with a Khan.
Earlier, Priyanka Chopra was to play the lead character in the film. But, after she opted out of the film, Salman Khan took the role to Katrina.
Salman is playing a circus artiste in the film and will be seen in five different looks that spans almost 50 years. Salman Khan also revealed on Kapil Sharma Show that his character in the film marries at the age of 74.
