Dhamnagar: A minor girl studying in class-4 at a primary school under Dhamnagar police limits in Bhadrakl was allegedly molested by a teacher. The accused is absconding.
After the school was over, the teacher had committed the crime. The family of the victim had intimated the matter to the president of the school managing committee.
Later, the mother of the victim filed an FIR at the police station. Police started an investigation in to the matter.
Minor raped by another minor
Ramagiri: A Class X girl was allegedly raped by a minor boy at Ramagiri police station in Gajapati district. She was attacked when she had gone to school at 8:45 am. Meanwhile, the boy, who was waiting for her in a preplanned manner, kidnapped her to the nearest jungle and raped her. As the girl shouted for help, people working nearby rushed to the spot and saved the girl.
They handed over the girl to her family members. The victim’s uncle lodged a complaint at Ramgiri police station. Based on the FIR, Ramgiri police station in-charge Ramesh Kumar Behera, arrested the accused. The girl was sent to Paralakhemundi hospital for her medical examination.
A case was registered on this matter and investigation was on. According to IIC Ramgiri police station, after the investigation appropriate action will be taken on the accused as per the law.
