Angul: In a bizarre incident, a school headmaster kneeled before a lady teacher and girl students in front of villagers in Kandhapada gram panchayat under Athamallik block of Angul district following harassment charges.
The HM begged pardon for his behavior and assured not to repeat in future. Reportedly, the lady teacher and students had brought harassment charges against the headmaster identified as Dhaneswar Biswal.
While the girls had alleged Biswal used to touch them inappropriately, the lady teacher also levelled harassment allegations against Biswal, based on which villagers forced him to seek forgiveness from his accusers.
On the other hand Biswal alleged he has been framed by the lady teacher as she was discontent with him because of her transfer.
