Mumbai: Deepika Padukone has clarified rumours on her citizenship and holding Danish Passport. Speculation were rife that she holds a foreign passport and will not be able to vote in the Lok Sabha elections being held in Mumbai today.
Deepika slammed the rumours of her being a Danish citizen by assuring that she holds an Indian passport. She also insisted that she is a proud Indian and will be casting her vote in the ongoing elections.
As of now, rumors have been cleared.
The actress is currently shooting for her upcoming movie ‘Chhapaak’.
Meanwhile, many B-town celebrities s cast their votes today in Mumbai. Superstars like Amitabh Bachchan, Ajay Devgn, Ranbir Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Shilpa Shetty, Dia Mirza, Madhuri Dixit, Kareena Kapoor, and others turned up at polling booths to exercise their right to vote.
