Mumbai: Kajol and Karan Johar are thick friends for last 30 years. They have known each other closely and well acquainted with each other’s personal lives.
Recently, during a chat show they opened up about their private lives. Karan Johar told an interesting story related to Kajol. The filmmaker revealed that the Fanaa actor had a huge crush on her Yeh Dillagi co-actor Akshay Kumar.
Karan said, “I met Kajol in the premiere of ‘Henna’ movie. Kajol had a big crush on Akshay Kumar and was looking for him at the entire premiere and I was supporting her. So, both of us were looking for him at the entire event. We didn’t find Akshay, but it was the beginning of our friendship. Both of us stayed in South Mumbai and that’s where our friendship developed further.”
Later, Akshay Kumar and Kajol worked together in the film, Yeh Dillagi’ which also starred Saif Ali Khan. The film’s song ‘Dekho Zara Dekho’ was very much in demand at that time. In this song, Kajol and Akshay Kumar danced together.
Meanwhile, Ajay Devgn is yet to comment on this issue.
Adding to it, Karan Johar also disclosed that Kajol never remembered his birthday. Karan said that it has been almost 30 years since our friendship but Kajol still wishes him one day after his birthday.
