Famous TV, film industry couples who are separated not yet divorced

Life’s luxuries come at a cost and too many failed romances have proved it time and again. Many famous couples, who were once madly in love and tied the nuptial knot, are now separated.

Here is a list of couples, who are not officially divorced but live separately because of their differences.

Pulkit Samrat – Shweta Rohira

Pulkit got married to Salman Khan’s rakhi sister, Shweta in November 2014.  Their marriage didn’t last long; soon problems arose in their marital life just a year after their marriage. And, then they decided to part ways in November 2015. According to reports the reason behind their separation was Pulkit’s close proximity with his Junooniyat co-star Yami Gautam.

Sangeeta Bijlani – Mohammad Azharuddin

Salman’s ex-girlfriend Sangeeta and former Indian cricketer Azharuddin tied the knot in 1996. Sangeeta was in a relationship with Salman, but, things went wrong when she caught him cheating on her with Somy Ali. Sangeeta then went on to marry Azharuddin. The couple separated in the year 2010.

Gulzar – Raakhee

Leading poet and lyricist, Gulzar married actress Raakhee, who was already a divorcee then. Trouble on the home front started when Gulzar chose Sharmila Tagore for the lead role in ‘Mausam’ instead of Rakhee. Since then the differences grew and the two split.

Randhir Kapoor – Babita

The legendary jodi of the Hindi film industry tied the knot in 1971. The Kapoor family then asked Babita, already a star, to quit movies and it sparked of tensions. But if reports are to be believed Randhir’s temper and alcohol addiction led to their separation in 1988. The couple still lives separately.

Mahima Chaudhary – Bobby Mukherjee

In a quiet ceremony, actress Mahima Chaudhary got married to the already divorced architect, Bobby Mukherjee in 2006. So when the news of their separation became public in 2011, it shocked many. Still not divorced, it is heard that the couple is probably thinking of reuniting for their daughter.
