Bhubaneswar, June 4: Girls of all ages flocked to the venue of the fashion and lifestyle exhibition that was held Thursday at a city hotel.
From intricate jewellery to imported garments, a wide variety of fashion and lifestyle items were available at the Indian Fashion Exhibition that was organised by Karnival Fiesta.
“It is really fun to shop at such an exhibition because it offers a large variety of products at affordable prices. I bought three evening gowns and earrings for myself. Besides I also spotted some frocks for my little sister. Tomorrow I will come again with my parents,” said Priyanaka Mishra, a visitor to the exhibition.
“I love the items that are used for decorating one’s home. I spotted various beautiful items for my home,” said Snigdha Panigrahi, a visitor.
The exhibition featured 32 stalls from seven different places, including Mumbai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Delhi, Srinagar, Chandigarh and Nagpur.
“This is the first time that I am participating in an exhibition in Bhubaneswar. We have brought beautiful pink designer stoles to attract visitors. We also sell scarves that range from Rs 200 to Rs 1,000,” said Deepankar Dey from Kolkata sells textile products.
Monika Madhyal, one of the organisers of the event, is optimistic that the two-day exhibition will draw a large crowd.
“This is the second time that I am organising such kind of an exhibition. The exhibition will feature all kinds of products related to fashion and home décor, as well as lifestyle products,” said Madhyal.
“The aim is to offer various accessories from different parts of the country at one place. I hope people will enjoy buying these items during the two-day exhibition,” she said.
