Bhubaneswar: Leaving behind 40 contestants from across the country, Odisha girl Lavanya Das has won Miss Teen Diva India International-2019 title in New Delhi.
Lavanya, a Class-X student at Unit-VIII DAV School in Bhubaneswar, has made the state proud by winning the title. She was the lone participant from Odisha at the final event held Sunday in New Delhi.
Earlier she had won the Miss Tourism Ambassador Universe Teen 2018 title in Malaysia. Her costume also won the title of ‘Best Costume’ for it depicted the culture of Odisha.
The same year she had also participated at ‘Prince and Princess International’ in Thailand and brought glory for the state by winning ‘Best Fantasy national Costume’, ‘Best Outstanding Achiever 2018’ and ‘Best Folk Dancer’ titles.
