Mumbai: Kriti Sanon turns 29 today and yesterday her film ‘Arjun Patiala’ was released collecting Rs 3 cr on the first day.
On her birthday, we are going to tell you some interesting facts about her.
Kriti was born 27 July 1990 in New Delhi. Her father Rahul Sanon is a chartered accountant and mother Geeta Sanon a professor at the University of Delhi. Kriti has completed her engineering and done B.Tech from Noida College.
Kriti started her career with South superstar Mahesh Babu and her first film was the Telugu psychological thriller ‘Nenokkadine’ (2014). Kriti’s performance was very much appreciated but she failed to get mainstream recognition.
The actress made her debut in the Hindi film industry opposite Tiger Shroff in Sabbir Khan’s ‘Heropanti’ (2014). The film was a hit and earned her a Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut.
Kriti also has a younger sister named Nupur, who is very close to her. They don’t have a brother and it hardly matters to them because the two sisters celebrate Raksha Bandhan by tying Rakhees to each other.
The actress has worked only in four movies in lead role and all of her films have earned good money at the box office.
Another interesting thing about Kriti is that she is a trained kathak dancer. She is also a state level boxer.
