Kendrapara: Vigilance sleuths arrested an ICDS supervisor while she was taking a bribe from an Anganwadi worker in Garadpur in Kendrapara Thursday.
A Vigilance team led by DSP Surendranath Raiguru caught ICDS supervisor Kabita Behera of Garadapur block when she was taking Rs 5,000 from Binodini Maharaj, an Anganwadi worker of Mahamuda, to process the bill of cooked meals.
Raiguru said, the supervisor had demanded Rs 10,000 from Binodini to pass the bill for three months.
Binodini later alerted the Vigilance sleuths who laid a trap. They seized Rs 5,000 from her possession and arrested her. The raid was conducted at the residence of the supervisor, added DSP Rajguru.
