Mumbai: How will you feel if you do not get food for two days? Obviously you will get irritated and won’t like to talk to anyone. But there is an actor in the Hindi film industry who lived for 20 days only eating carrots and drinking black coffee.
The name of that actor is Rajkummar Rao.
Rajkummar, who started his film career in 2009, has not spent much time in the film world but still he is counted among the big actors in the industry. Rajkummar was born 31 August 1984 and today is his birthday.
Rajkummar played a superb character in the film ‘Trapped’. In this film, he accidentally locks himself in his own house and is out of food for 20 days.
To portray the role well, Rajkummar survived on carrots and black coffee for 20 days.
This was revealed by the actor in an interview. According to media reports, this character was very mentally and physically exhausting for Rajkummar but he did not give up and nailed the role through sheer perseverance and determination.
‘Trapped’ is directed by Vikramaditya Motwane. Rajkummar was awarded the Filmfare Critics for Best Actor for the film.
