Bhubaneswar: Health Minister Naba Kishore Das inaugurated a drug distribution centre, an integrated physiotherapy centre and an e-bedded drug resistance TB ward at Capital Hospital here, Wednesday.
Speaking to media persons, Das said Capital Hospital would soon have MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) facility. “Considering the demand from the MLAs, I am going to hold a review meeting of Capital Hospital very soon. We are going to start MRI facility at Capital Hospital soon,” said the minister.
“Keeping in mind the 5T mantra and ‘healthcare to all’ enunciated by our Chief Minister and in view of reports of long queues at the drug stores at Capital Hospital, we have opened a new drug distribution centre at the hospital today,” Das said.
“We have also opened an integrated physiotherapy centre and a new TB ward in Capital Hospital,” he added.
