Mumbai: Sania Mirza’s sister Anam Mirza got married to Asaduddin, son of former Indian cricket team captain Mohammad Azharuddin in Hyderabad last night.
Anam announced her wedding December 12 by sharing a photo from the ceremony on social media platform Instagram.
The caption read: “Mr and Mrs #alhamdulillahforeverything #AbBasAnamHi.”
Asaduddin was in a beige and gold color sherwani while Anam looked gorgeous in a bridal look with purple shades.
Meanwhile, Asad shared another glimpse of the wedding with a post of his own. Sharing a photo on Instagram, Asad captioned the image: “Finally married the love of my life.”
Anam has been quite active on social media, sharing many photos starting from her pre-wedding celebrations to bridal shower to the mehendi function.
Sister Sania has also been treating her fans to glimpses of her sister’s pre-wedding festivities. Yesterday, she shared a series of photographs from Anam’s pre-wedding celebrations.
It is worth mentioning that this is Anam’s second marriage. She separated from her husband Akbar Rasheed last year.
Anam had married Akbar, a businessman November 18, 2016. The wedding was a star-studded ceremony, attended by celebrities like Salman Khan, Parineeti Chopra, Farah Khan, Huma Qureshi, Lara Dutta and others.
However, the marriage ended in a bitter divorce. Anam is a stylist and a curator of fashion. She runs The Label Bazaar for which Sania is the brand ambassador.
