Mumbai: The untimely demise of Kedarnath star Sushant Singh Rajput has sparked outrage over nepotism, favoritism and the practice of launching star kids in the Hindi film industry. While most of the stars in the film industry have sidelined themselves from the issue, fearless actress Kangana Ranaut has been vocal and once again spoke openly on this matter.
She has time and again questioned big shots including the 3 Khans, big production houses and directors as to why they did not accept Sushant Singh Rajput’s work.
Taking to her Instagram handle, Kangana had earlier blasted at B-town biggies in a video. Meanwhile, sources said that Mumbai police have asked Kangana Ranaut to appear before the investigating team and record her statements.

However, as the actress is in her hometown Manali right now due to COVID-19 pandemic, she has not been able to attend the investigation process. She has asked the team to send a few policemen to record her statements in her Manali home.
Recently, in an interview with Republic TV, Kangana Ranaut spoke of returning her Padma Shri award. The actress said that she will return her Padma Shri award if she is unable to prove her statements in the investigation related to Sushant’s demise.
“They (Mumbai Police) summoned me, and I asked them too, that I’m in Manali, that you can send somebody to take my statement, but I have not received anything after that. I am telling you, if I have said anything, which I can’t testify, which I can’t prove, and which is not in public domain, I will return my Padma Shri,” Kangana told Republic TV.
“I don’t deserve it. I am not that person who will go on record (to make such statements), and everything that I have said is in public domain,” she added.
Recently, Kangana revealed in a conversation that she had come to know many secrets related to Sushant after a conversation with a friend identified as Kamal Jain. She would reveal all the secrets during the investigation, the actress stated.
