Mumbai: Since the untimely demise of Kedarnath actor Sushant Singh Rajput, there has been a huge debate in the Hindi film industry about nepotism, favouritism and outsiders.

In an interview with Republic, recently actress Kangana Ranaut talked on nepotism and targeted B-town biggies, especially Karan Johar and other actresses like Taapsee Pannu and Swara Bhasker who she called as B grade actresses.

Reacting to Kangana’s allegations, Karan who had gone to the London School of Economics, said that Kangana should leave the film industry and do something else. Now the video of this statement of Karan Johar has surfaced on social media.

This video of the filmmaker is now going viral on social media.

In this video, Karan Johar says, ‘I am completely tired of watching Kangana playing Victim and Women’s cards. You can’t always be a Victim and you can’t always tell the same story about how this evil world and the industry has scared and threatened you.’

Karan Johar did not stop there. He continued and said, ‘If that’s the case, then you leave. Who is keeping a gun on your head and saying that you stay in this industry. You leave the industry. Go out and do something else. ‘

In the interview to Republic TV, Kangana had said, “Karan Johar went to the London School of Economics and said, ‘Kangana should leave the film industry. She should get out right away’ – hooting was there, people clapped when I was here fighting nepotism. A human being has only three main things — Emotional, social, and career life -”

“They choked everything for me. I can’t get married, no financial future, don’t you think the thought of suicide would cross my mind?” she asked.

This the clip Kangana is talking about, Karan telling her to leave and people applauding. He attacked her on an international summit #KanganaSpeaksToArnab https://t.co/ODl0jTHaxe

Kangana further said, ‘Someone like me who has got three National Awards and Padma Shri only on the basis of acting, will never be in the list of good actors of Karan Johar. 18 brands left me in two months. What were my options? I may not have thought of killing myself in my mind at that time, but there must have been a thought to put a hair scrape and disappear somewhere.

She also hit out at Bhatt’s interference with Sushant and Rhea Chakraborty’s relationship, while accusing the filmmakers of ‘systematically sabotaging’ his career.
