Mumbai: The Hindi film industry is currently divided into two camps. While one stands with the film fraternity, the other camp stands against it. In such a situation, there is also a round of harsh comments on each other.
Actress Kangana Ranaut is in the headlines due to her statements. Now veteran actress Shabana Azmi targeted her. Again with no doubt, Kangana’s sister Rangoli has come out in her defence.
Recently, senior actress Shabana Azmi targeted Kangana Ranaut in an interview. She has sharply attacked Kangana’s continuing rhetoric. According to Shabana, Kangana is scared to get out of the headlines. Shabana has advised Kangana to be a good actress and that she should focus more on her on acting. Kangana’s response to this statement has not come, but Sister Rangoli has definitely hit back.
Rangoli Chandel has tried to show Shabana Azmi a mirror through a post on social media. Rangoli writes “Here comes the suicide gang! Dear Shabana ji I have a few questions for you and your husband. Why don’t you both also stick to your respective acting and poetry? Why do you guys actively participate in anti-India politics? To remain in headlines? Or you feel for certain issues? If your anti-India agendas are genuine then why can’t her pro-India agendas be genuine as well? Why different rules for her and different for you?”
Kangana has been drawing attention to the supposed ills of the film industry, from the practice of nepotism and functioning like a ‘mafia’ to its alleged rampant drug use. In the past, she has referred to Bollywood as a ‘gutter’, which drew a sharp response from many of her industry colleagues including Jaya Bachchan.
On professional front, Kangana is busy shooting for her upcoming project ‘Thalaivi’, she recently shared an adorable picture of her mother cooking in a traditional fashion. Kangana captioned the post as, “In the midst of filming Thalaivi just received a delightful picture of mother making season’s first makki ki roti, she has a separate little chulha for authentic smokey taste of chulha rotis from home grown makki.”
