Paralakhemundi: A youth was electrocuted while taking a selfie atop a train at Paralakhemundi railway station in Gajapati district Wednesday evening.
Reports said that the youth who is yet to be identified was charred to death after being electrocuted. Reports said that the victim was taking a selfie on the train when he came in contact with an overhead livewire.
He was immediately rushed to the local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. Residents said that the train has been stationed at the platform for the last few days.
Later the bogeys of the train also caught fire and fire personnel rushed to the spot to bring the fire under control.
