Shweta rose to fame with Ekta Kapoor’s Kasautii Zindagii Kay. The actress has appeared in many TV shows including Naaginn, Seeta Aur Geeta and Parvarrish Kuchh Khattee Kuchh Meethi, among others.
In 2010, Tiwari participated in the fourth season of the reality show Bigg Boss. She was declared as the winner of the season 8 January 2011, becoming the first woman to win the contest in the process.
