Cuttack, Feb 27: Dular Majhi stood first in three events to emerge champions in the girls’ segment of the Ravenshaw Athletics Meet, which concluded here Saturday. Chandra Sekhar Murmu took the top honours in the boys’ category.
Dular secured top positions in women’s 100 metres, 200 metres and high jump events. Earlier on day one Chandrasekhar had clinched the title in three events.
Veteran marathoner Bibekananda Tripathy joined as the chief guest and distributed the prizes in the closing ceremony presided by Ravenshaw VC Prof Prakash Chandra Sarangi. Former international footballer Sradhanjali Samantray was felicitated on the occasion.
