Prasan Kumar Swain becomes new Vice Chancellor of Utkal University of Culture

Bhubaneswar: Governor of Odisha Ganeshi Lal Monday appointed Professor Prasan Kumar Swain as Vice Chancellor of Utkal University of Culture (UUC), a notification issued by his office said Monday.

Currently, Swain is posted as Head of Odia Department at Berhampur University.

According to the notification, Swain has been appointed as Vice Chancellor of the UUC for a period of three years with effect from the date he assumes office or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

The newly appointed VC  has 31 years of experience in teaching and guided 2 D.Litt, 15 PhD and 56 M.Phil scholars. He also has authored numerous books.
