Bolangir: A man was killed as the car of BJD MP Niranjan Bishi hit the two-wheeler he was riding near Tamian Square under Patnagarh police limits in Bolangir district Wednesday.
Police identified the deceased as Tankadhara Biswal from Inapur village.
The MP said the driver was returning to his village after dropping him home when the mishap took place and he was not in the vehicle at the time of the accident.
Police have started an inquiry into the incident.
