Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of IMD in Bhubaneswar in its July 25 weather bulletin informed that a well-marked low-pressure area over the Bay of Bengal persists and the associated cyclonic circulation extends up to 7.6 km above mean sea level.
The weather agency also issued Orange Warning for several districts of the state.
Upto 8.30 AM of July 26: As per the Orange Warning (be prepared), heavy to very heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at one or two places over Malkangiri, Koraput, Gajapati and Ganjam districts.
As per the Yellow Warning (be updated), heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at one or two places over Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Kandhamal, Rayagada, Kalahandi, Nabarangpur and Mayurbhanj districts.
In the same timeframe, light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at most places over the districts of south Odisha, north coastal Odisha and at many places over the districts of north interior Odisha.
From 8.30 AM of July 26 to 8.30 AM of July 27: As per the Orange Warning (be prepared), heavy to very heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at one or two places over Malkangiri, Koraput, Nabarangpur, Nuapada and Kalahandi districts.
As per the Yellow Warning (be updated), heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at one or two places over Rayagada, Gajapati, Ganjam, Kandhamal, Bolangir, Puri and Boudh districts.
In the same time frame, light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at most places over the districts of the state.

In Bhubaneswar, for the next 24 hours, a cloudy sky with one or two spells of rain or thundershower is predicted by IMD. Maximum and minimum temperatures are very likely to be around 32 degree Celsius and 26 degree Celsius respectively.
In the last 24 hours, the highest maximum temperature of 34.6 degree Celsius was recorded at Cuttack, Sambalpur and Hirakud while the lowest minimum temperature of 23.4 degree Celsius was recorded at Nuapada, the bulletin informed.
