Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Sub-ordinate Staff Selection Commission (OSSSC) is inviting applications to fill up as many as 378 posts of radiographer (district cadre Group-C posts).
The last date to apply for the post is October 20, 2023.
The selected candidates will be posted in various district establishments and medical colleges and hospitals under Health and Family Welfare Department of Odisha government.
Scale of pay:
The scale of pay for the radiographer posts under the OSSSC recruitment drive is Rs 25,500 to Rs 81,100 with pay matrix level 7 and cell-01.
Eligibility criteria:
Age: As of the date of advertisement the candidate must be between 21 to 38 years old. The date of birth recorded in the HSC certificate issued by the Board of Secondary Education, Odisha or an equivalent certificate issued by recognised board/council/Indian university shall be accepted.

Educational qualification:
In order to be eligible, a candidate must have
- passed Plus-II Science examination under Council of Higher Secondary Education, Odisha or equivalent and
- passed Diploma in Medical Radiation Technology (DMRT) from any government or any other private institutions recognized by Government of Odisha or All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE).
- If any candidate has obtained higher qualifications, like Bachelor in Medical Radiation Technology (BMRT) or Master in Medical Radiation Technology (MRT), they shall also be eligible to apply provided they have obtained the basic qualification i.e., Diploma in Medical Radiation Technology (DMRT).
A candidate must have registered his/her name in the Radiographers Council in the State and have a valid registration certificate as on the date of advertisement which shall be uploaded online.
A candidate must be able to speak, read and write Odia and have degree as mentioned in the official notification.

Examination fee:
According to the notification, no examination fee is payable for the post.
