Bhubaneswar: Odisha Public Services Commission (OPSC) has invited candidates to apply for the examination to recruit as many as 621 posts of Assistant Execution Engineer (Civil) and Assistant Executive Engineer (Mechanical).
The application can be submitted on the official website of OPSC at opsc.gov.in. from January 12, 2024, to February 12, 2024.
Applications are invited for recruitment to 580 (194-W) posts of Assistant Executive Engineer (Civil) under Water Resources Department, Works Department, H & UD Department of Government of Odisha and for recruitment of 41(13-Women) posts of Assistant Executive Engineer (Mechanical) under Water Resources Department in Group-A of Odisha Engineering Service carrying the scale of pay in Level-12 of pay matrix under ORSP Rules-2017 with usual dearness allowance and other allowances as may be sanctioned by the Government of Odisha from time to time.
Eligibility criteria:
Age: A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years as of January 1, 2023 and must not be above the age of 38 years as of January 1, 2023 i.e. he or she must be born not earlier than January 2, 1983 and not later than January 1, 2002. Educational qualification: A candidate must have possessed a Degree in Engineering in Civil for the post of AEE (Civil) and Degree in Engineering in Mechanical for the post of AEE (Mechanical) or an equivalent qualification from any University or Institution recognized by the Government or he/ she must be an Associated Member of the Institution of Engineers of India in Civil/ Mechanical.
Application fee: The applicants are exempted from paying any fee for the examination.
