Bhubaneswar: As advised by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, Odisha Governor Raghubar Das Saturday announced portfolios allocated to ministers who took oath June 12.
As per a press notification issued by the Governor, Chief Minister Majhi will oversee key departments including Home, General Administration and Public Grievance, Finance, Information & Public Relations, Water Resources, and Planning & Convergence. He will also handle any other department not specifically assigned.
Deputy Chief Minister Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo will manage Agriculture and Farmers’ Empowerment and Energy, while Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida will be responsible for Women and Child Development, Mission Shakti, and Tourism.
Key Cabinet positions have been assigned as follows:
- Suresh Pujari: Revenue & Disaster Management
- Rabi Narayan Naik: Rural Development, Panchayati Raj & Drinking Water
- Nityananda Gond: School & Mass Education, ST & SC Development, Minorities & Backward Classes Welfare, and Social Security & Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities
- Krushna Chandra Patra: Food Suppliers & Consumer Welfare, Science & Technology
- Prithiviraj Harichandan: Law, Works, and Excise
- Mukesh Mahaling: Health and Family Welfare, Parliamentary Affairs, Electronics & Information Technology
- Bibhuti Bhushan Jena: Commerce & Transport, Steel & Mines
- Krushna Chandra Mahapatra: Housing & Urban Development, Public Enterprises
