Bhubaneswar: The Special Task Force (STF) of Odisha Police arrested a drug peddler and seized 121 grams of brown sugar along with other incriminating materials from his possession.
According to STF sources, acting on an intelligence input, a raid was conducted late September 18 night near Dhauli Peace Pagoda, targeting the illegal possession and trade of brown sugar.
During the raid, the accused, identified as Ajay Kumar Parida of Nayagarh, was apprehended.
A search led to the recovery of 121 grams of brown sugar, a mobile phone, and cash, all seized in the presence of witnesses and an executive magistrate.
