After winning the Asia Cup 2025 final, Team India captain Suryakumar Yadav and Abhishek Sharma attended the press conference during which a Pakistani journalist was mocked.
In the post-match presentation ceremony, a Pakistani journalist questioned Surya about Team India’s behaviour, noting that India didn’t shake hands with Pakistani players or have a photoshoot with Pakistan skipper Salman Ali Agha. Surya responded to the question in Rohit’s style.

A Pakistani journalist asked Suryakumar Yadav, “The way you behaved with the Pakistan team throughout this tournament, you did not shake hands, you did not do a photoshoot for the trophy, then you held a political press conference, do you think that you are the first captain who brought politics into cricket?”
Suryakumar Yadav first asked, “Should I speak or not?” Then, laughing, he said, in the style of a meme video, “Are you angry? I didn’t get your question. You asked four questions.” A meme is going viral on social media, in which he says, “Are you angry?” Surya’s response made everyone present laugh.
The Indian team defeated Pakistan in the Asia Cup final and had to leave without receiving the title. Speaking on the same, skipper Suryakumar Yadav had a wholesome reaction, as he opined that the trophies he has are his teammates and the support staff around him.
Notably, Team Indian remain undefeated through the tournament, winning all its seven matches.
