Cuttack: Radharaman Club rode on a brace by Moses Abasi to thrash Rising Star Club (RSC) 3-0 in a FAO Ist division league match at the Barabati stadium here Friday.
Abasi opened the scoring for Radharaman Club in the sixth minute with a powerful shot. Ramesh Murmu doubled the lead shortly afterwards in the 12th minute with a fine display of footwork and accuracy.
Abasi who had a spectacular first half dashed all RSC hopes when he scored again in the 78th minute to complete the rout.
The other match of the day between SAI- STC and Jay Durga Club had to be abandoned because of the torrential downpours.

David suspended
Football Association of Orissa (FAO) have handed Rising Star Club (RSC) footballer David Ekka with a one-match suspension Friday, following an untoward incident which took place in the match against Morning Club at Barabati Stadium last Wednesday.
The incident occurred in the second half of the match when the referee awarded a penalty in the favour of Morning Club. In the ensuing melee Ekaa pushed the referee. With the suspension Ekka will have to sit out of their next game against Radharaman Club, Friday.
FAO however, drew flak from all quarters as the two main protagonists, joint secretaries Abhijit Pal and Bijay Das were allowed to go scot free and the innocent players were made scapegoats. The two had entered the field of play and had nearly come to blows with each other.
