Bhubaneswar: Steel structure of an under-construction building “partially collapsed” near Delta Square in Bhubaneswar late Sunday night, sources said.
The incident reportedly took place hours after a five-story student hostel collapsed at Satya Niketan in Delhi Sunday, raising concerns over construction safety in the capital.
However, details regarding the number of injured workers and how the structure collapsed were not ascertained at the time of filing this report.

Residents in the area said they heard a loud noise during the night. By morning, steel pillars, concrete slabs and corrugated roof sheets were scattered across the construction site. While the upper portion of the steel framework remained standing, the supporting section below had collapsed.
