Bhubaneswar: A man allegedly jumped into the Kuakhai river from Tankapani Bridge in Bhubaneswar Tuesday, prompting Fire Services personnel to launch a search operation.
According to sources, the man reportedly left his auto-rickshaw parked on the bridge before jumping into the river.
Fire Services personnel reached the spot after being alerted and began searching the river to trace the man.
The missing man has been identified as Sanjay Swain, a resident of Bhubaneswar, sources said. Firefighters are conducting a search at different locations along the river, but his whereabouts remain unknown.
