Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) Sunday said that temperature will fall in the coming days.
“As the condition for cold wave is favourable, both the day and night temperatures will fall by one to two degrees Monday. This will further dip by another two degrees during the subsequent two days,” said director of Bhubaneswar Meteorological Centre Sarat Chandra Sahu.
The interior pockets will witness more cold than the coastal and urban pockets, he said.
This type of weather condition will continue in the state for another few days, he said.
“There might be slight rainfall in few places in between November 12 to 15.”
In between 8.30 am to 5.30 pm Sunday, minimum temperature of 13 degree Celsius has been recorded at Daringibadi while it was 14.4 degrees at Koraput town.
Similarly, the minimum temperature at Phulbani was 15 degrees, 15.1 degrees at Hirakud, 16.3 degrees at Bhawanipatna, 17 degrees at Sundergarh, 17.5 degrees at Jharsuguda and 17.9 degrees at Keonjhar, the IMD said.
