Bhubaneswar: Ticket sales for the biggest hockey event of the year-World Hockey League Finals (WHLF) to be played at the Kalinga Stadium here started Wednesday near the Gate no.3. The hockey extravaganza is just three weeks away and will be played December 1-10.
The price of the daily tickets for the east and west stands has been fixed at Rs 50 and Rs 250 respectively. Hockey fans can purchase online tickets through www.ticketgenie.in.
The inaugural match of the tournament will be between Germany and England, December 1. Hosts India will take on mighty Australia the same day later. India will play their next two league matches against England and Germany, December 2 and December 4 respectively.
Argentina, Australia, Netherlands and Germany have been placed in Pool A. On the other hand hosts India have been grouped with Belgium, Spain and England in Pool B. League matches will be played December 1-5 and the grand finale will be played December 10.
