Bahalda: Santh Brag Singh, a 73 year-old man from Punjab, is an inspiration for the young generation of the country as he has been on arduous mission of spreading peace.
Undertaking a bicycle journey from Amritsar, Singh reached Bahalda in Mayurbhanj district Friday on way to Rameswaram.
“I have traversed a long distance on bicycle from Amritsar to Puri and from there I will set out for Rameswaram,” said the elderly man with gusto, as if to surmount all hurdles.
A native of Boma under Mijtha police limits in the northern state, Singh said he has been spreading the message of peace in various parts of the country for the last five years.
After a brief halt at Bahalda, Singh resumed his bicycle journey to the holy city of Lord Jagannath. All along his journey, he has been receiving cordial support from the people everywhere. He was warmly received here by members of the Bahalda temple trust. PNN
