Pipili: A youth, who was abducted by a group of miscreants Tuesday night, was found in a critical condition behind Dena Bank at Siula Chhak in Pipili of Puri district.
The youth, Nrusingha Sahu of Unit-8 area in Bhubaneswar, was admitted to a hospital in the state capital.
According to reports, Sahu had gone to a hotel at Patrapara area for dinner along with his friends. While eating, he had a verbal duel with a group of youths over some issue.
The youths forcibly took Sahu away in a car following which his friends lodged a complaint at Tamando police station.
However, some local residents spotted his body this morning and alerted the Pipili police.
Police suspected that Sahu, who had been beaten up by the miscreants, later abandoned him and fled.
