Bhubaneswar: Well-known Odia film and television actress Lipsa Mishra tied the knot with Akash Acharya, a mechanical engineer and MBA in marketing, here, Monday. Akash currently looks after his family business.
Lipsa Mishra looked stunning in a Sabyasachi ensemble. She thus became the first celebrity in the Odia film industry to wear a Sabyasachi dress and that too on her most important day. Sabyasachi is known for his exquisite craftsmanship, striking designs and colours that complement the brides perfectly.
Akash too wore a cream Sabyasachi sherwani and topped it up with a gem- studded heavy border dupatta on silk fabric.
For the unversed, Lipsa became a household name in Odisha after appearing in mega serial Kichhi Luha Pi Jae Otha followed by several other serials. Later, she made her debut in films through Odia movie Maya. Her notable films include Pilata Bigidigala, Samaya Bada Balban, Tokata Fasigala, 4 Idiots, Queen & Adrushyam.
The actress, who has featured in several Hindi and Odia music videos, also owns a production house.
